01Who we are

MUSCULA ONE is a fitness app based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. We are responsible for the personal data processed through the app.

02Data we collect

• Account: your phone number (to sign in with an SMS code), your first name, and your gender (to show exercises with a matching character).
• Training: your goal, level, equipment and session length, the sessions you complete, your feedback and your progress.
• Steps: with your permission, the app reads your step count from your phone’s motion sensor (or Health Connect on Android) to show steps, distance and calories.
• Meal photos: when you scan a meal, the photo is sent for analysis to estimate calories. It is not used for anything else.
• Live coaching: the messages, voice notes and photos you exchange with the coach, and your call history and call length. Calls and live classes are not recorded.
• Payments: the plan you choose, the amount, and the transfer receipt screenshot you send, so our team can verify it.
• Device: a notification token to send alerts, and basic technical information to secure your account and prevent abuse.

03How we use it

To run your account, build your sessions, show your progress, estimate your meals, enable coaching, verify payments and activate your plan, send notifications, and protect the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

04This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and collects no data from you. As with any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.

05Service providers

• Google Firebase: sign-in, database, file storage and notifications.
• Google Gemini: AI meal photo analysis and AI workout generation.
• A Mauritanian SMS provider: sending verification codes.
• Our own LiveKit server: calls and live video classes.
• A content delivery network: serving exercise animations (no personal data).
• Cloudflare: hosting this website and forwarding mail sent to our contact address.
• These providers process data only on our behalf and only to deliver the service.

06How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your personal data, except what the law requires us to keep (such as payment records).

07Your rights

You can view and correct your data in the app, and delete your account at any time in Settings, then “Delete account”. You can also turn off camera, motion and notification access in your phone settings.

08Security

We use encrypted connections and strict access rules: only you and the coach can read your conversations, and only the review team can see payment receipts.

09Children

The app is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
